Adding Funds to Existing Accounts

Whether you're topping up your savings or reinvesting, adding money to your
existing Skipton account is easy. You can choose from several convenient options
including electronic bank transfers, online banking or cheque.

Adding funds via bank transfer

When transferring sterling funds by electronic transfer your bank will require the following details:

Failure to quote your 9-digit Skipton account number as the payment reference could result in your payment being returned.

When making a payment to your Skipton account by SWIFT from a bank account
registered outside of the UK, as well as quoting your 9 digit Skipton account number
as the reference you must also ensure your residential address appears on the
payment. Where the residential address is missing from your SWIFT payment,
Skipton reserves the right to return these payments to source.

Funds received in any currencies other than US dollar will be converted to the
appropriate currency at the prevailing rate of exchange at the time of the transaction
and with a charging structure determined by our bankers. This conversion may be
performed without any further reference to the account holder. Accordingly, any
currency exposure risk will remain with you and no liability in this respect is accepted
by us.

N.B. Your bank will generally make a charge for electronic transfers and/or Faster
payment transfers will generally be made free of charge and will not be available
from overseas banks. Skipton International Limited will not accept any liability for
delays in receipt of inward payments; agents’ charges, where applicable, may be
deducted by an intermediary bank, so net funds received will be credited to your
account.

Adding funds via cheque

Make cheques payable to Skipton International/account holder’s name.
Write your Skipton account number on the back.
Send to the address above.

Important Notes: Interest starts accruing on the second business day after deposit (if
received on a business day). Non sterling cheques are not accepted.
