Skipton International finalists for second year running

Shortlisted for Moneyfacts 2023 award

Skipton International is in the shortlist for the ‘Offshore Account Provider of the Year’ trophy in the prestigious Moneyfacts Consumer Awards 2023, marking it out as a forerunner in offshore banking. The Guernsey-licensed bank is the current holder of the trophy, having won in 2022.

Totally independent, the Moneyfacts Consumer Awards combines over 30 years of Moneyfacts’ expertise with the opinions of the customer. This gives over one hundred thousand customers a voice, the results enabling Moneyfacts to distinguish companies that offer great products alongside customer service excellence.

The bank is up against stiff competition, including Barclays Bank, HSBC, and Santander International.

Jim Coupe, Skipton’s Managing Director, commented: “The Moneyfacts Consumer Awards are the pinnacle of banking awards, in that we know we have been shortlisted thanks to the support and nominations from our customers.

Being a finalist again for this award is a recognition of the consistently high levels of service, and long-term stable rates we offer our savings customers. Offshore accounts are an integral part of our offering; we look after the savings of Channel Islanders, people from the Isle of Man, along with British expats from more than 100 countries around the world.

“As a Guernsey-registered bank we are committed to giving customers from the Channel Islands, and beyond, the best personal service and to make the process of opening offshore savings accounts as straightforward as possible.

“Personal service remains at the forefront of our business and we will continue to support our team members through the training and development necessary to deliver the excellent service our customers deserve.”
