Staff very helpful and easy to do transactions over the phone. But information access would be much improved if I. Oils see my accounts on the internet. And Skipton waste money by sending everything is separate envelopes.

Very good and friendly. Communication by post fast and efficient. What is important for me is the reminder near the time of the bonds maturity date so I can send more fund to add and to decide on options. This is a necessary benefit.

The mortgage application package was very well collated and straightforward to fill out, but of course time consuming. There was no further request for additional information from Skipton and their review and approval were quick. This is due I believe to their comprehensive pack which if you follow precisely provides all the information required.

I didn't compare the rate etc to other providers. However when I spoke to friends and advised of the rate etc they said it was good.

Even after two phone calls I have not received my certificate of deposit for a new fixed rate bond that came from a prior bond that matured on 15th Dec 2016. From what I read in reviews, I see other customers with the same problem. W When I called

Further to my call that the new FRB had not been opened as no certificate was received by me and other customers; Skipton refused to open it at 1.75% for 2 years and insisted it be backdated to 1.25% 1 year.

We have investigated your concerns and can confirm that the statement for the closing bond and an account opening statement for the new bond were posted on 15 December. I can only apologise for the delays in you receiving these which appears to have been down to delays with Christmas postage (as experienced by some other customers). As the fixed rate bond was opened on 15 December, there was no back dating issue and the funds had been committed to the 1 year bond as requested.
However, in the circumstances Skipton International will change the 1 year fixed rate account to a 2 year fixed rate account. I will ask one of my colleagues (Alaina) to call you to confirm your instruction. I hope this is acceptable.
As an aside, Skipton International is currently investing in a new Banking platform which will facilitate an online savings interface, targeted for roll out commencing late 2017, which if of interest should avoid postal delays in the future
