If you can provide at least 80 days notice for access to your Sterling (UK Pound) offshore savings our International Investor 80 account could be attractive. You can deposit additional savings into this account at any time (subject to a maximum investment of £5 million) plus make withdrawals with no loss of interest provided 80 days' notice is given. Both deposits and withdrawals are subject to a minimum transaction size of £1,000. Please note there is no early access available to this savings account. If the date the notice expires falls on either a weekend or a Guernsey bank holiday, your money will be available on the next working day.

The interest rate on this sterling offshore savings account is variable. Interest is credited annually on 31 August. Interest is earned after 3 working days including the day we receive your cheque. Please note that interest may be paid gross and it is your responsibility to declare all income to your tax authority.

This offshore account is available to private investors only. Sterling accounts for corporate customers, trust companies and pension schemes are available.  Please view our Business Page for further information.

To open this savings account, existing Skipton International customers will only need to complete an Additional Account Opening Form. New customers will need to complete an Application Form and supply relevant identification and proof of address documents. For further information on how to apply please see our Application Guide

Offshore accounts may be opened by electronic transfer, BACS or cheque. If you wish to transfer funds to us by electronic transfer or BACS click here for the details your bank will require. Please note the minimum opening balance for this offshore account is £10,000.
