Why Skipton International? 

Skipton International is a bank licensed and regulated by the Guernsey Financial Services Commission and located in the island of Guernsey. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Skipton Building Society, but operates independently. Skipton International is not licensed in the UK and hence cannot provide regulated mortgages, however, does offer Buy to Let mortgages in England and Wales for British Expatriate investors. We have a simple application process and offer prompt lending decisions, using instructing valuations within 3 days of receipt of a fully packaged application. Remortgages can take as little as 16 days from application to completion, although purchases tend to take a little longer.

We welcome introductions from all brokers on a case by case basis. A Procuration Fee of is paid on mortgage completion.

Stress Rate: 125% at 6% or pay rate for 5 Year Fixed mortgages

Minimum income £40k pa (or £50k in currency equivalent) for employed persons* and pensioners.

Minimum income £60k pa (or £75k in currency equivalent) for the self employed.

Maximum LTV 75%

Loan Sizes: £100k - £1.5m (although if you have a client requiring more please give us a call to discuss)

* if employed by a well established, easily identifiable employer.
