Mortgage Underwriter / Trainee

Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a motivated underwriter or trainee to help grow our business both across the Channel Islands and the UK.

Required Skills

The role is ideal for underwriters looking to completely own lending decisions, without the frustration of referring to off-island underwriters or credit committees.

Alternatively, we will train bright committed team players to CeMAP level and beyond.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review mortgage applications and offer mortgages within your mandate.
  • Liaise with intermediaries, advocates, surveyors and other professionals.
  • Provide input into new product developments and marketing campaigns.
