Senior Underwriting Manager

Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join the business as Senior Underwriting Manager to lead the Underwriting and Credit Management teams. The role is ideal for an individual who has experience in managing lending operations, preferably with a professional related qualification.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Finance, Risk and IT, responsibilities include:

  • To oversee mortgage underwriting operations to ensure underwriting decisions are made in accordance with regulation, lending policy and agreed timeframes.
  • To oversee arrears and forbearance management
  • To ensure that robust governance, controls, monitoring and reporting is in place
  • To prepare reports for Board and Committees.
