Mortgage Credit Officer

Overview

Due to continued growth an opportunity has arisen for a full-time Mortgage Credit Officer. If you are passionate about financial analysis and risk assessment and have a CeMap qualification, then look no further. 

Required Skills

  • Qualified CeMap or recognised equivalent. 
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships both within the company and the wider business environment to achieve agreed objectives.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret various forms of data.
  • Knowledge of mortgage lending policies and regulations. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete arrears management, contacting customers in default and providing weekly updates to the Senior Underwriting Manager.
  • Make recommendations on action required based on the customers individual circumstances, and in line with Skipton's policies and processes. 
  • Communicate effectively with customers as required, seeking an equitable solution for both parties.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and provide recommendations on policy or procedure changes needed to maintain regulatory compliance, particularly in relation to the LCF Law.
